In an ‘global sentiment trick’, a Japanese lady was supposedly hoodwinked of around 4.4 million yen ( ₹24.8 lakh) by a man who presented to be a Russian space traveler. The denounced asserted that he is working at the Worldwide Space Station (ISS) and that he wanted cash to “return to earth to wed her”, revealed Japan’s television Asahi.
The 65-year-elderly person – an occupant of Shiga prefecture in Japan, met the conman on Instagram in June this year where the man’s profile was occupied with photographs of room, the report said. The two started trading messages and before long moved their discussion to a Japanese informing application – Line.

As per the report, after some time, the man let the lady know that he was enamored with her and that he needed to move to Japan and wed her. The conman then told her he “really wanted cash to get back to Earth”, guaranteeing that he needed to pay an arrival expense for the rocket which could fly him to Japan.
